XT Double Impact testing USA style

Saturday, December 1st 2007, 10:34pm

Wes of Sharka Corp and R1ckCa1n in the USA have teamed up to have the G 1/4 XT Double Impact reviewed by nikhsub1 of the [H]ardforum and Xtreme Systems forums.

However, it isn't being tested along with normal AC pumps. It is being tested with nikhsub1's test bed that he has tested a whole bunch of current water blocks for comparison purposes. They are using an Iwaki RD-30 pump at 18 volts.

First reports are that it is extremely restrictive, but we knew that by just looking at it. ;) It also appears to blow away the competition. ;D

Radical_53 is now posting in the XtremeSystems forum where the XT DI (see link above) testing that showed the TDX beating a lot of the competition.

For those who have been following this you might be interested to know that they used a DDC+ with a USB Poweradjust and that is what the 60% and 100% references were about. The percentages are of maximum flow from the DDC+ as opposed to CPU utilization. Now the chart from Aquatuning makes more sense to me.
