im dualen Zahlensystem ausschaut.

Ich hab elbartos Ergebnis zwar nicht nachgerechnet, aber Gleitkomma ist doch nur eine mögliche Darstellungweise einer (binär-)zahl

bäh, wollte gerade das selbe schreiben. Ach und windows hat nen Taschenrechner mit dem man so was umrechnen kann

da war dann mein kleiner zettel zu ende.
man rechnet das folgendermaßen:

0,99 * 2 = 0,98 Rest: 1
0,98 * 2 = 0,96 Rest: 1
0,96 * 2 = 0,92 Rest: 1
0,92 * 2 = 0,84 Rest: 1
0,84 * 2 = 0,68 Rest: 1
0,68 * 2 = 0,36 Rest: 1
0,36 * 2 = 0,72 Rest: 0
0,72 * 2 = 0,44 Rest: 1
usw. usf.

das kann man so lange rechnen, bis einem die lust vergeht oder nach dem "=" ne "0" rauskommt (dann geht es glatt auf).
Danach liest man die Restzahlen von oben nach unten ab und hat damit die Lösung

ja sry, ich bin davon ausgegangen das man das nachm komma genauso rechnet wie davor, allerdings hab ich gerade mal selbst kurz gegoogled und nachm komma gehts halt mit 1/2 + 1/4 usw... weiter, is also aufwendiger zu rechnen

Kann das sein das 0,99 im Binärsystem eine periodische Zahl ist?
Edit: 0,11'11110101110000101000 (ab' periodisch)

Mein Windows-Taschenrechner kann des ned umrechnen (also der im Zubehör). Oder bin ich zu doof?

ich bin mir ja net so ganz sicher, aber ich glaube das dauert son "paar" stellen bis man die 0,99 erreicht, das kann man eigentlich nur annähern

habs mal komplett ausgerechnet. die zahl ist wirklich periodisch.

Perioden gibts überall, nur halt je nach Zahlensystem jeweils bei anderen Zahlen
