CompactFlash Typ I ? II ? AAAAaaa

Hi, wie man schon sieht, geht es um den Speicher, und um nichts anderem als in einer Digicam.

ich habe die S404 und laut DigiKamkann meine S404 nur Flash Typ I annehmen, ist es auch sicher das sie keine Typ II annimmt???

bekantlich sind die IBM (Microdrive) ja Typ II?
wollt mir eine kaufen aber das ist immer so das ding.

Wie sieht es nu mit der Kompatibilität aus?

Passt Typ I auf II ? oder muss ich Richtig aufpassen was ich kaufe?

Fangen wir mit den grundlegenden Dingen an:
-CF1 und CF2 werden identisch angesteuert (IDE)
-CF1 und CF2 haben identische Abmessung, bis auf
DIE DICKE
d.h. ein CF2 Slot ist breiter und daraus schliessen wir:
a) eine CF1 Karte passt sehr wohl in einen CF1 Slot
aber
b) eine CF2 NIE in einen CF1
Da aber alle vier mir bekannten IBM Microdrive als CF2 daherkommen => NO CHANGE
Kauf Dir 1-2 Marken CF1 Karten mit 256MB (z.B. Toshiba) und Du hast keine Probleme, alles darueber, also 512MB bzw. 1GB sind unbezahlbar (im Verhaeltnis).
Ich bin beim Wechsel von der Casio QV-3000 auf eine dimage7 auch freiwillig von Microdrive auf 2x 256MB Flash umgestiegen. Ich wollte nichts mehr mechanisches in der Kamera haben, obwohl nie Probleme mit dem Microdrive. Ich gebe zu, dass mit der Wechsel leicht gefallen ist, da ich fuer laengere Reisen einen Subnotbook mit 1.3KG, aber 20GB HD habe :-)

Wo? Welcher Hersteller?
Minolta Kameras sind da etwas waehlerisch...
