DDR-Ram Probs

Erstmal ein paar Infos
#Ich habe 1 GB DDR-Ram,Marke:"Super Tron" Pc 2100
#Abit KG-7 Motherboard
#AMD 1600+ XP CPU

Prob:
Immer wenn ich den Pc starte zählt der Computer im Bios bis "nur" 500 MB Ram hoch.Dann starte ich ihn neu und dann hab ich 1 GB.
Wie kann ich das Problem beheben bzw. wie zählt der Computer direkt bis 1 GB Ram rauf?

Buffered oder unbuffered ddr ? Kann eigentlich nur buffered sein oder ? Ist es ein modul, hört sich zumindest so an.
