Raid partitionieren?

Hi, ich habe mal mit dem Gedanken gespielt, mein Raid-Array zu partitionieren. Entstehen dadurch Performance-Einbussen? Und Frage Nummer 2: Ich habe ein Raid mit ATA133 Platten, 160GB, und eine Backup Platte mit ATA100, 40GB. Jetzt wollte ich auf der Backup Platte eine 1GB Partition mit Fat16 oder Fat32 einrichten, um darauf die Windows Auslagerungsdatei zu packen. Gibt das Performanceprobs oder sonstige Inkompatibilitäten?
Mainboard: Asus P5B Premium Vista
CPU: Intel Core2Duo E6600
Grafikkarte: XFX GeForce 8800GT 512MB
RAM: 4GB Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4
HD: 2x 500GB SATA Samsung
Sound: Audigy2ZS Platinum Pro
OS: WindowsXP Professional SP3 32bit

Das kannst Du schon so machen. Da gibt es keine Performence einbu?en.
Achte aber dadrauf das die Auslagerungsdatei in der ersten Partition der 40GB Platte liegt. Die erste Partition einer Platte ist immer die schnellste.

Das dachte ich mir auch. Und Raid partitionieren tut der Performance keinen abbruch?

Mal so neben bei:
Soll ich meine Bara IV 80GB lieber an Raid, statt an IDE, anstecken? Wenn ja, welcher Raid ist empfehlenswert?

kein wunder bei nem (windows) disk cache von 189 MB...
hab 45.000 Punkte ohne windows disk cache, netzwerkserver-einstellung und mit 2 platten
