Sofern es nur um den IRQ geht, bleibt alles OK. Aber es gibt doch noch "andere" Ressourcen oder?

DMAs sind in Fülle vorhanden (und werden kaum noch gebraucht), höchstens könnten sich die E/A-Bereiche überschneiden, gerade in einem *allesmussrein*-vollgestopftem System mit 7 Grakas :

mir fehlt der Sachverstand um dieser Diskussion zu folgen, aber 5 Quad-Grafikkarten in 5 PCI-Slots machen unter WinXP keine Probleme. Wenn ihr mir ein 478er Board mit 6 PCI-Slots zeigt, probier ich 6 Quad-Karten aus...

So, hab mal die Supermicros durchgeklickt, sind sogar ein paar mit 6Slots und AGP bei (gibts die Quad-Karte nicht als AGP-Verison?), Verfügbarkeit ist natürlich nicht gechecked, ein paar haben zusätzlich noch Onboard-Grafik

krass, danke! Das Tyan-Board gibts wie gesagt leider nirgends. Und wo kriegt man diese Supermicro-Dinger her? Das Elitegroup und das Asus hab ich übersehen, vielen Dank!

können PCI-E oder PCI-X Slots mit "normalen" PCI-Karten arbeiten?

PCI2.2-kompatible Karten passen auch in PCI-x-Slots rein, in PCIe passt nur PCIe.
Als Shops die üblichen verdächtigen Abklappern

Beamer ist doof weil:
-geringe Auflösung
-("Preis" sag ich jetzt nicht, die ganzeb Grakas und Monis sind sicher auch nicht billig ;D)

Außerdem hat er ja nicht gesagt, was er damit überhaupt will - vielleicht gehts nur um den Leet-Faktor ;D.

Eine ATi Grafikkarte... kann bis zu 4 Digitale oder Analoge endgeräte ansteuern (jedenfalls die FireVM 2400)

ansonsten kannst du auch mit Matrox DH-2Go Box jedes signal splitten und so auch mit einer Fire VM KArte 8 Monitore ansprechen... allerdings nur bei statischeren optiken zu empfelen (für CAD eher ungeeignet)
