geode nx kompatibles mobo gesucht!!!

hi,

ich spiele mit dem gedanken mir nen 2. pc zu bauen.die geplanten abmessungen lassen keine große kühlung zu, also bin ich auf den geode nx gestoßen.nachdem er einen t-bred kern hat sollte erdoch auch in mobos, die entsprechend ausgelegt sind reinpassen?das mobo soll wahrscheinlich ein fic AM39L werden, welches bis zum barton alle kerne vom athlon für den sockel a ansprechen kann.kann es trotzdem schwierigkeiten geben, wenn ich nen geode in dem fic mobo betreiben will??

Das Hauptproblem könnte die Spannung werden. Du müsstest bei dem Mainboard je nach Geode Modell 1,1 bis 1,25V Core Spannung einstellen können.

Was die Kompatiblität angeht würde ich lieber auf ein Mainboard setzen, dass User bereits erfolgreich verwenden bzw., wo der Hersteller klar angibt, dass der Geode auch läuft.

Mit Sicherheit.
Wenn das Ding problemlos laufen würde, hätte FIC das auch dazugeschrieben.
Um einen NX zu betreiben müssen die Core-Spannungsregler und das BIOS (µCode) mitspielen.
Dummerweise scheint es für das AM39 gar keinen Support zu geben - geschweige denn ein aktualisiertes BIOS mit einer Liste unterstützter Prozessoren.

Warum nimmst Du nicht ein Board, das explizit für den Geode spezifiziert ist (z.B. Tyan S2498.)?

hab nen angebot fürs fic bei ebay gesehen.das tyan is zwar ganz nett aber mir persönlich zu teuer.ich such ein mobo mit integrierter grafik, micro atx form und 5.1 sound.bin offen für empfehlugnen.

cool danke, wenn mir nix günstigeres mehr unter die augen kommt werd ich des asrock nehmen.

wie schauts eigentlich mit der leistungsfähigkeit von onboard grakas aus?ich erwarte keine wirkliche performance aber für enemy territory (mit einigermaßen details) sollts schon reichen.

Oha, der onBoard Chip da wäre wohl auf dem Niveau einer GeForce 2 MX anzusiedeln.

wenn die onboard graka zu lahm is werd ich wohl ne 9550 kaufen.
