Ich will es nicht garantieren, aber das "Anschlussfeld" scheint mir das gleiche wie bei allen anderen Komplettkühlern für Grafikkarten zu sein, demnach sollten die Anschlüsse passen.

Anyway, the weight is not my concern, neither is price.
I worry about the fact that all my other parts are copper and with electrolyses, using two different metals together will kill the system.

Too bad you won't do copper, you really have a very nice design and I would buy it no matter what the cost (within reason).

The aluminium is anodized and the use of AC Fluid is recommended. Would we sell this combination if there are going to be problems ?

There will be no corrosion of any aluminium parts in combination with cooper. Alle aluminium parts are anodized inside and outside. The M4 threading at the panel for the tubing is just there to provide a optimum anodization through contacting the blocks just at this point. Also all our parts are two times anodized. The first time with a zinc-bath after that with a high quality (medicine parts quality) bath. This is a really expensive method of anodization because the parts must be handelt by hand. The factory who does this is really well known for there qualitity and they are even doing this Job for high quality companies like Zeiss.

As further security we use a so called seawater-aluminium which is even without anodization resistable against corrosion.

So you can be shure there will nothing happen to your parts.

Toll, okay you convinced me.
I'm assuming it will fit the 512MB version.

As soon as I can find any confirmation that the new R580 boards will use the exact same layout and cooling I will order one of these great coolers.

I was wondering how this spring loaded core works.
Is it just a piece of Alu with a spring?
How is it connected to the Alu where the water flows?

Wow, sieht ja wirklich geil aus. How thick is that red core thingy? Must be several milimeters to accomodate a spring like that? If the core is free floating, how is the insulation against water leakage made?

Der X1800 Kühler kam irgendwann letzte Woche...

Die X1800XT Scheint mir mit dem Standardkühler etwas mau ausgestattet zu sein zumal nun auch ein neues Bios für die X1800XT von Sapphire freigegeben wurde -> X1800XT PE

Im Idle eine Temp von 62° ist abartig viel und das neue Bios muss warten bis ich den Kühler draufgefummelt habe...

I heard about that new bios. You think all the X1800XT cards might be generic? meaning that the bios would work on my Club3D card as well?

Das kann aber noch eine Weile dauern. Das Paket von Bärlin wurde heute abgeschickt (Winkel und Krimskrams da der Küherl schon bei mir einstaubt) jedoch bin ich über Weihnachten und Neujahr nicht zu Hause.

Ein weiteres Problem ist, das ich den Rechner unter der Woche benötige zum arbeiten...

Das ATI Tool spuckt einen Wert von 54 Grad bei 32 Grad Wassertemperatur aus. Die GPU der 1800XL auf 560 Mhz und Ram auf 620.

Entscheidend ist aber weniger die Temperatur, denn diese ist durch das Wasser und nicht durch den Kühler limitiert. Interessanter ist in jedem Fall das man die Lüftergeräusche entfernt hat.
