Win XP + Mandrake Linux ?

Erst mal hallo !

Ich wollt mal fragen, ob ich parallel zu Win XP auch noch Mandrake Linux (das gratis ding !) installieren kann und ob ich dann mit nem bootmanager auswählen kann was ich starten will ? (oder geht das nur bei Win !)

Linux installiert immer (auch bei reinen Linuxsystemen) einen Bootmanager (meist LiLo).

btw: ALLE linuxe sind gratis!
kosten tun lediglich die softwarepakete die du samt handbuch und co im handel krisst
und selbst die darfst du ganz legal kopieren so oft du lustig bist

HAb auch Mandrake und XP parallel laufen.
Einziges Problem ist, dass bei meiner Mandrake Version nachn paar Starts die KDE nicht mehr startet und ich quasi neuinstallier, weil ich von der Konsole keine Ahnung hab :

Ohne Konsole is Linux im mom noch nicht wirklich nutzbar.

Ich hab im mom eher das umgekehrte Problem: ein hartnäckiges GDM, dass sich weder beenden noch mich in den Root-Account lässt

warum spinnt ihr auch mit dem nerd linux rum...

mandrake is der letzte scheiss... hab aufm server WinXP und dazu noch Red Hat 9.0...

aja P.S: kann man ja hammer viel machen ohne root rechte
