Seltsame Fehlermeldung

Hallo,
ich bekomme bei WinXP Pro seit heute nach dem booten die Meldung: "monitor-exe konnte nicht gefunden werden". Wenn ich das wegklicke läuft alles normal. Kann das ein Virus sein? Und wie finde ich heraus, welches programm diese monitor-exe überhaupt braucht?

Start - Ausführen - msconfig. Es erscheint ein Dialog, in dem alles aufgeführt wird, was beim Windowsstart geladen wird. Vielleicht hilft das.

Ansonsten das übliche, mal Adaware, Spybot oder anderes AV Tool laufen lassen und mal sehen.

Du kannst auch mal in dr registry nach der Datei suchen, kann sein, dass du da einen Hinweis findest.
