Flow Sensor Calibration Value

Saturday, February 25th 2012, 6:50pm

Hello, can anyone tell me Calibration represents...

I have a Koolance FM17 and a RPM adaptor, basically the adaptor is putting out a RPM signal equal to mL/min.

So if its signal is 2000rpm it means 2L/min how to calibrate that into the Aquaero 5 so it represents correctly.

Ive put in 1000 guessing thats what it would mean.. but like a confirmation.

Cheers.

In this thread someone is using FM17 with Aquaero and suggest calibration set to 169, he doesn't say what tubing he uses though (I've seen that number for the plug n cool stuff). The calibration is dependent on the tubing though and in a review (of ACs "high flow" sensor) I read 158 was suggested (I think that was for 10-11 ID tubing).

I was told by support when using the Aquacomputer High Flow like the one that is being tested, you should choose the High Flow option in the Aquareo calibration menu.
