Any plans for Waterblock to PA2?

Wednesday, March 7th 2012, 3:27pm

Hi,
I am currently running 3x PA2 in my rig, mounted in a frame ("einbaublende ").

But these are getting relatively hot.

So ,my question is, is there any plan of making a waterblock for these?
I would suggest 1 waterblock that covers 3x PA2 mounted in a frame, preferably made of cupper/delrin.

With hope of watercooling my PA2s soon.

I was thinking about the same thing! I am using my PA2 to power the pump and the temperature goes up quite quickly once the voltage comes down.

I don't think they'll make a block for it, from what I've seen people are using them in many different configurations, and probably not many people have three mounted in the holder.

I have copied a solution from one of the users on this forum and I am cooling down the PA's by using an old Corsair memory cooler. PA heat-sinks don't actually require a lot of airflow, I am running the cooler at very low RPM's, virtually noiseless, and it takes 15C of the VRM temperature easy.

Kind regards,
Boris.
