Aquasuite Error after every reboot

Saturday, April 14th 2012, 4:16am

Every time i reboot the computer the Aquasuite has major errors. Aquasuite sees the device, but there aren't any sensor names, controllers, fan settings, outputs, information pages or alarms.

The only way to get everything back is to unplug the USB header, delete the device from Aquasuite and restart Aquasuite. Sometimes i have to do it more than once for aquasuite to be normal.

This has been happening for awhile, but now it's getting out of hand.

Please help.

Hi franknitty69,

It looks like many people have similar problems, and nobody has found a reliable solution yet. Usually it helps if Aquaero is the only device on the USB hub.

Over on the German forums one of the Aquacomputer posters said that they found a problem in the USB stack of Aquaero and have decided to completely rewrite it. This should solve all of the connection problems once and for all. This is also why the new beta of Aquasuite and the accompanying firmware are delayed.

Kind regards,
Boris.

If not done yet: get the BETA 14. There have been many bugfixes with the USB communication for several "problematic" hardware constellations.
