Having trouble installing aquabox professional 5 /14"

The fittings dont clear the bottom of the box and there is not enough space for them to clear the bracket, am I missing something??

I have 3/8 bits power fittings and have found that only the
strait will work.

Not quite sure about the problem. Maybe you have a photo available?
