RPM Not working

Monday, March 18th 2013, 1:40am

Hi, i have just finished my build, put my Aquaero 5 LT back in and the rpm for fan 1 isnt displaying. i can control then via the voltage but the rpm just shows 0. i have 3 gentle typhoons linked together on fan1 and i have the heatsink on the amplifiers, anyone got any idea what the issue might be?

If you have all three RPM wires connected instead of just one it might cause that.

Google will give you a 3 pin fan pinout. Just solder the two power wires of both of the other fans together and leave the single RPM wire to report to the fan controller.

You should always do this when connecting multiple fans.
