An idea, not sure if it can be done. Thoughts

Wednesday, June 4th 2014, 11:50pm

I've got an idea for a personal project for a family member coming back from deployment that requires 3 pumps (I need three different colors of fluid for my idea.) and three flow meters.

I'm wondering if there is a way to hookup the Aquaero 6 XT (w/Real Time Clock) and Aquaero 5 LT (w/Real Time Clock?), having two pumps on a y adapter and the third on a separate header. The three Aquaero 5 LT headers would be for the three flow meters.

Possible or is it something I've got to figure a different solution?

Either way it works out, thanks for any help or ideas.

Not enough information but.... Possibly doable. I would be very very careful about feeding two pumps from a Y adapter and make sure one pump doesn't get starved at the expense of the other.

Each pump receives a bus address so the Y cable is GTG.

I must have been off in space when I read his post. For some reason I thought he meant to feed two pumps fluid through some kind of pipe Y adapter.... Of course two pumps on the Aquabus is OK.

For 3 flow meters you need either 3 USB flow meters, or 2 Aquaero's or an Aquaero and 2 poweradjusts. Lots of ways to do it but each requires specific hardware. The 5lt headers will not support 3 flow meters.

3 loops can be done but it requires some specific hardware to do it the way you want. Mandrix is right, for any answers you need to be more specific.
