Damaged Capacitor

Friday, March 6th 2015, 10:28am

Hi there i have accidentally damaged a capacitor on my aquaero 5 LT marked as "22 CFK M13"

does anyone know where i can get a replacement in the UK, the contact points are undamaged so it should be just a case of soldering a new one in :)

Mouser or Farnell are your best bets, but without knowing the rating...

http://industrial.panasonic.com/lecs/www…BA0000CE120.pdf

looking at the code and assuming its a Panasonic cap C should be the voltage 16v FK would be the series of the capacitor 22 would be uF

that leaves two sizes in the range B 4.6mm and C 5.9mm

EEEFK1C220UR or EEEFK1C220R

am i assuming that this is what i need working of an assumption . ?(

That looks about right, but I can't say one way or another. I will say that soldering surface mount caps in this regard is not the easiest thing ever. But...I don't have the best tools nor steadiest hands anymore.
