ATX break problem

Sunday, July 26th 2015, 3:10pm

Hi all
I'm setting up new configuration with aquaero 5 pro and i have bought an atx break
I have power on aquaero even with the pc turned off and it's ok

I have connected the two n.16 pin (green) to relay port in aquaero.
If i set an alarm with the event realy on the pc turn off for a couple of seconds, then power up again

Now the question is: is possible that pc remain POWER OFF after an alarm? I'm doing something wrong?

Thank you

Do you have the wiring from pin 16 to the motherboard split at the relay? You must make sure there is not another path for current to travel from the psu to the motherboard.
Without looking directly at yours I don't know what else to tell you.
If you are positive you have it wired correctly, maybe some setting in your BIOS is causing it to restart.

Anyway, I have my Aquaero relay wired directly across the case switch, which to me is the easiest way on my rig. I was going to use the ATX break but this way just seemed simpler to me.

Yes the aquaero is across the two greens... but when the relay switch on the computer power off the the aquaero turn the relay on and the pc restarts...
So you think is better to connect the aquaero between the power switch? can you send a me photo of your configuration?

Thank u

I don't know if the way I did it is better for you. Either way will work.
The forum isn't letting me post a pic from my pc, but basically you just wire the relay across the power and ground...you can do this at the switch or you can do it at the motherboard front panel pins.
