MPS 500 as a pump outlet & return inlet pressure sensor

As the title says (MPS 500 as a pump outlet & return inlet pressure sensore), I would like to sanity check how this particular setup works (NOT using it as a fill sensor).

I have EK D5 tops, which have 2x outlet & 2x inlet ports. I was going to have normal out/in tubing going to 1 in & 1 out, and use the other in/out to run through the MPS 500. I have read the documentation, but its rather sparse on this setup. Opinions on this setup?

I know this doesn't answer your question but what D5 pumps are you using?
