Aquastream USB & Bus at the same time

In the manual of the Aquastream under section 6.4 it is stated:

Quoted

USB and aquabus interface can be used at the same time, however not all control options of the aquastream XT are available using the aquabus interface.


How should this be read? Is it that not all control functions are available when both are connected OR is it that not all control functions are available over the bus even if USB is not connected?

this one.

if you want all control options, you must connect the aquastream on USB.

the aquabus Interface only provides limited control options, regardless if usb is connected or not.

Do you happen to know what functions aren't available? I'm planning a new build and I would like to keep the cable clutter to a minimum.
