Access to the aquabus

Wednesday, August 10th 2016, 5:54pm

I would like to build my own custom hardware to interface with the aquabus, For instance I would like to create a fan hub which can monitor the speed of all the fans individually, so I can know whenever 1 fan fails. Also I would like to control the RGB led's of all the fans individually. Other then this I have a few other ideas which I need to flesh out and see how it goes during my new build.

I've been looking at the plugin SDK, it does provide some clues as to how the bus works but nothing to add your own hardware.

me too

I thought maybe plugging in 2 same aquaeros would be possible to also read another 4 fans rpm as well

if you are prepared to work the sdk I can build the pcb & components if you wish

I thought the Aquaero had bus system already

The aquabus is a closed system that can not be extended with own devices.
