I think my aquaero 5 lt has just become bricked - RESOLVED

Hi all,
Sorry to start with a problem post but I've got a bit of a problem.
I upgraded Aquasuite to 2016-5.3 on Friday and it asked to flash the Aquaero. I've let it do that and shutdown the computer for the weekend. Now when I power up the computer I can see the three fans are getting a momentary pulse of power about once every 2 seconds, but Aquasuite isn't picking up anything from the Aquaero (USB icon is there with a cross through it) and pulsing isn't what I'm expecting from the fans.
Is this a permanent bricking or is there some way to reset this and get it up and running again.

Okay, cancel that. When I removed all three fans it suddenly came back to life.
