D5 adapter to reservoir failure

Saturday, August 25th 2018, 12:30am

I have hit a roadblock in my project and am honestly confused how to proceed, i have a 880ml tube reservoir with an LeD groove in the bottom, Slat-smallWeb.jpg and i have a D5 pump adapter with the correct connectors, Slat-noneWeb.jpg . These two pieces go together, they were made to fit in and seal, but for some reason water leaks, no pours out from the groove where the Leds go and even from the edges of the seam. i've tried thicker O rings but that makes it not fit, and last i tried was aquarium sealer but still it cant hold a shotglass worth of water. is there something im missing? a hole i had to plug?

Have you sealed the thread next to the edge (pump adapter)?
