All cables are connected, including USB, and I'm getting this message.

your windows is not able to detect the usb device.
this is an usb or windows problem.

Are you using a USB hub? if so, try direct connecting to the motherboard for a test.
Also, be sure the polarity of the USB cable connectors is correct on both ends.
The PSU powering the motherboard is the same one powering the aquaero (same PSU for both)?
