Cannot install AquaSuite (server failed error)

Tuesday, March 31st 2020, 10:06pm

I downloaded the "aquasuite_setup.exe" and attempted to run it, it finds my aquaero (6 Pro) via USB (serial blurred) but then fails to let me continue, giving an error that "Connection to Aqua Computer server failed. Check your internet connection and firewall settings."

I have tried with Windows Defender firewall turned completely off, I'm not blocking anything at my router level (connected directly via Ethernet to a Ubiquiti Security Gateway 4 Pro). Considering I'm writing this here on the same PC, it's not my connection (symmetrical Fiber). ;)

I had even already purchased a license for future updates, as I want to support Aqua Computer, but it won't let me even get that far...

EDIT: I even tried via WiFi over my iPhone's personal hotspot (to FirstNet, which is AT&T's un-throttled network for First Responders). Still no dice.

EDIT2: a friend sent me the older 2.2.0.0 installer - *IT* connected to your servers evidently, as it told me I needed a newer installer and pointed me to this broken 2.4.0.0 one ;)

I also am having this issue. I already have it installed, but tried to do a fresh install as I have lost all HWinfo data after the update.

Please help.

This has resolved for me and is now working. Also a fresh re-install solved my Aquasuite Service data issue as well. Hope its working for everyone else as well.

I think they fixed something, now it works, I only rebooted.
Thanks

Edit: 1 year update ordered ;)

Just thought I would toss out a thought.
With self-isolation being de rigueur world wide, the internet is experiencing extraordinary traffic, which may cause connection issues at times.
