Quadro + Splitty4 + Splitty4?

Background
  • Currently successfully running a Quadro + Splitty4 for fan control, temp monitoring and RGB control
  • Four Corsair ML120 Pro RGB fans are connected to the Splitty4 Corsair RGB headers on the Splitty4
Question:

There is an Aquacomputer RGBpx out connection on the Splitty4; Can this be used to connect a second Splitty4 to add another 4 Corsair RGB fan connections?
If so, what additional cable is required not already supplied with the Splitty4?

There is nothing mentioned in the manual, but as there is an "out" connection for RGBpx on the Splitty4, i think you can chain them. You will just need a RGBpx cable then. There comes one with every Splitty4, so you should have everything you need when you buy a new one. But if it is chainable this will probably only work if there are 4 fans connected to the first splitty. If there are only three connected this may not work.

Right. You can chain them if they are conntected to a full set of 4 fans.
