Filter fitting Size?

Wednesday, May 13th 2020, 10:51pm

Need help to find out what type & size of thread is on these fittings. I have had this filter with stainless steel mesh, ball valves. The new version is stander with the G1/4 thread—the one I have not sure. I have never used it because of that. Is there a cross over for G 1/4?

I just wanted to pass this info forward to anyone that may have this same question as I did. I did reached out to AquaComputer support as well to see if they had an idea what I needed. They did reply, and also provide a solution for me thank you and appreciate the support. :)

Here is there reply:

Hello Antonio,

this seems to be an early variant that used G1/8 fittings.

The thread of G1/8 fitting has a diameter of about 9.6mm while for G1/4 it is about 12.9mm.

You could get G1/8 fittings to match your tubing size or you have to use a G1/8 to G1/4 adapter.

kind regards
Sven Hanisch
