Distribution plate pump - Max power

Tuesday, August 25th 2020, 12:27pm

Hi,

A few weeks ago I started a new build with an EKWB distribution plate (https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-ref…pwm-d-rgb-plexi) It has a D5 pump with a PWM connector.

The loop also has a fluid temp sensor configured and 6 Corsair QL fans to provide the airflow.

Temp sensor to Sensor port 1

D5 pump on PWM port 1
3 fans on a splitter to PWM port 2
3 fans on a splitter to PWM port 3

I've configured my fan curves and everything works fine except the pump who is at max capacity all the time:

Does anyone else have some experience with this? Are there certain things i need to change in the settings? I've done some googling on the subject, but did not find a clear answer or something that worked for me so far.

Thanks a lot!

Kind Regards

Glenn

You don't indicate if you are powering the D5 from the aquaero fan port or direct from the PS, but the aquaero shows an error state (overcurrent) on port 1, your pump's port.

Hi,

I'm powering my pump from the PS

I've switched my D5 pump to PWM port 4 and everything works fine. Does this mean my aquaery port 1 is faulty?

Thanks!
