Is it safe to cut this section of the Splitty4?

Is it safe to cut this section of the Splitty4?

Hopefully I attached the image correctly. I'd like to cut off the yellow section (or at least increase the slot size) if that won't break anything. These don't really fit very well in my 1000D front rad spots unless the slots can be opened up or the yellow area cut off completely.

There are no connection tracks to be seen, so I think it's safe to cut here.

Right - you can cut this are without electrical issues.
