Are all kryoM.2 evo created equal

Hi I bought a kryoM.2 evo a few years back and swear by it for better cooling and hence performance. I recommend it to all of my friends who generally purchase it as well.

My question is now that there are m.2's that support PCIe 4.0 will my "Aquacomputer kryoM.2 evo PCIe 3.0 x4 adapter for M.2 NGFF PCIe SSD, M-Key with passive heatsink" support PCIe 4.0 if I have motherboard that supports PCIe 4.0 and I purchase a PCIe 4.0 m.2?

If you look in the Webshop, Aquacomputer is listing the Adapter as compatible with PCIe 4.0

I dont know if Aquacomputer made changes on the PCB to ensure signal integrity, or if it is still the same PCB as yours.
