Aquasuite doesn't recognize Unifan controllers for PWM

Monday, February 21st 2022, 4:44pm

Hi everyone,
I just joined the aquacomputer train but I'm running into some issues getting everything set up. I have an Aquaero 6 with 2 Aquacomputer D5 PWM pumps and 2 Lian Li Unifan controllers plugged into the four fan headers.
However, in the software the fan hubs register as 0 RPM and no other information is given, and while the RPM of the pumps are shown I can't seem to control them via PWM, only power %.
Can anyone guide me in the right direction regarding this issue?
Thanks!

The Aquasuite only recognize Devices from Aquacomputer.
Remove the Lian Li Controller, and connect the Fans directly to the Aquaero.

Test the outputs with an normal fan. when the fans are working, the lianli controller is the problem.

It's just a read issue it looks like. When assigned to a controller, such as a curve based off of the CPU temperature, the fans will ramp up as they are supposed to. However, the RPM reading is not shown in Aquasuite. The connection between the Lian Li controllers and the aquaero is just thew tacho line for speed control.
Edit:
The reason the RPM is not read is because the 4 pin connector from the Lian Li controller only has the tacho line, and not the sense line. I can live with not seeing RPM, it will still control just fine.

Thank you both for your help.
