D5 Next "Pump Speed Too Slow" Alarm

Sunday, August 20th 2023, 9:28pm

I have a new Ultitube100 Pro with a D5 Next hooked up to a new power supply with the jumper installed. No other cables are attached to the D5, just the sata power cable. I have two radiators in a test loop and nothing else. I am using the test loop with distilled water to flush the new radiators. Everything starts up fine but consistently after about 2-3 hours I start getting a "Pump Speed Too Slow" alarm. Stopping and restarting the power supply does not clear the error. When started it is running at around 4800 rpm and 300 l/hr.

FW: 1024
12v: 11.98v
5v: 5.03v

Any ideas? I've disassembled/reassembled everything and found nothing.

Without more information, it's hard for anyone to help you there, the only data point is the RPM 3 hours before the error.
You should connect the D5 NEXT with the USB cable to a computer and install the Aquasuite, then you can also read data from the pump and possibly see the error.
