D5 pump not showing in Aquasuite

Monday, December 8th 2025, 6:14pm

I have an Aquaero 5 Pro for many years and really love it. Except only 1 PWM header. So for my new fresh build I decide to take the front display and use it as a Aquaero 5 LT, Case now don't have front 5 1/4 bay drive anymore.

In my new build I don't see my D5 pump but I use a normal PWM fan cable and plug it directly to the Aquabus High speed header. I don't see the D5 pump and no RPM so I cannot control the speed of the D5 pump.
Also in Aquasuite I don't see the pump in the Aquabus page. It was showing in my previous build.

In my previous build I think I use the Aquabus Y splitter cable with a 3 pin fan extension cable to the D5 but i'm not sure. I should have taken a picture before dissasembly !

At the moment where I place the Aquaero 5 is not reachable without having to unmount my loop.

Could the problem be because I use a normal PWM cable from the D5 directly to the Aquaero 5 Aquabus header ? On both the Aquaero 5 and the pump the Aquabus header have 4 pins.

Thanks

Shoggy

You can not connect a regular D5 pump via aquabus. This is only possible with the D5 NEXT or the old D5 USB/aquabus variant.

I assume you have a PWM controlled D5 pump. If so, you connect its fan plug to fan header #4 and change it to PWM control in the fan settings.

I have the D5 USB/aquabus variant and I was using it as a Aquabus device before I install it in my new PC. For some reason I lost the Aquabus device for the pump in Aquasuite. I use fan 4 (PWN) for 3 PWM fans for the top radiator.
In the aquabus I try the search for device to try to find the pump with no success.

Maybe something wrong with the cable or I will need to plug the USB cable from the D5 pump to the motherboard and make a new Aquabus adress to find it.
