Flowsensor, where in loop?

Saturday, June 28th 2008, 1:33am

Where in the cooling loop do people usually put the flow sensor? Just before or after the pump, or somewhere in the middle of the loop?
Just after the pump I guess gives you a start valu of how much it's putting out. Just before the pump the flow of the system with all bottlenecks passed etc..
Or doesn't it make a difference?

shouldnt make a difference i think but a smart spot to use it would be on ramslots if you cool your ram.. then you loose minimum flow from the sensor:)
since the water is going arround in tubes i guess the pressure would be the same all arround

it makres no difference at all, since the flow will be the same at every (!) spot in the system.

Ok, guess that's logical. No system has better flow than the slowest bottleneck.
