aquatube LEDs

do the LEDs for the aquatube come with a switch so they can be turned off, say at night when my machine is downloading updates etc?

No, just a normal 4-pin plug for the PSU.

Of course.
Its a plain&simpel [+] and [-] connector,
you only have to cut one wire (normally the + one gets switched), put an on/off switch in and you're done.
Turning the switch off means the same thing as pulling the plug.
