AquaDrive Mirco Harddrive Cooler The AquaDrive Micro installs under the HDD and fits in the standard 3.5 Inch drive. But because of its design is it possible to cool a hdd underneith and (its purpose) the hdd above?

id say putting it on top would be better, as heat rises so
the hottest part of the harddrive is the top. also the top
of a hard drive is all metal giving a good contact for the
cooler. where as the bottom is 50/50 metal & curicit board
so not much contact with the harddrive.

if you look at:

you can see that the cooler has a bolted on top plate with the AC logo on it, i think the bolts would get in the way if you tried to cool two hard drives with it! :(
