Aquastream 3-pin fan connector

Hi

does the 3-pin fan connector on the aquastream controller board still give out a tacho signal to connect to the mother board when it's connected to the aquaero?

The 3-Pin-Connector is for the motherboard to control if the aquastream is working correctly - DON't CONNECT IT TO THE AQUAERO, it can destroy both ;).

thanks for the answer, but i knew not to do that ;D

i meant: does the aquastream control board still give the fan signal out to the motherboard when it is connected to the aquaero (via the 10-pin cable NOT the fan cable!) as opposed to stand-alone operation?

Ups, then I missunderstood :p. Well, I haven't got an aquastream and my aquaero is in hardware-heaven, so I can't check it (but I think, the pump will send the singnal, why don't you have a try?)

only kidding! it's cos i ain't got me aquaero yet!

just need to know, cos i'm not sure if my mobo needs a signal on the cpu fan to turn on.
