Hi@all,

ich hab gestern nacht mal kurz den PC rebootet, als mir der Bootscreen meldete:

CMOS checksum error - BIOS set to defaults

Daraufhin hab ich im BIOS alles wieder neu eingestellt, aber bei jedem hochfahren kommt obige Meldung.

Was kann da los sein? Das Mainboard ist neu, und auch das direkt nach dem Kauf geflaschte BIOS machte bisher keinen Ärger. Board ist das MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum.

CPU: Intel Core2Duo E6600
Grafikkarte: XFX GeForce 8800GT 512MB
RAM: 4GB Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4
HD: 2x 500GB SATA Samsung
Sound: Audigy2ZS Platinum Pro
OS: WindowsXP Professional SP3 32bit

Verdammt. Sind die genormt? Oder brauch ich da eine spezielle?

das sind ganz normale knopfzellen, nimm die batterie raus und geh damit zum saturn oder einem elktronik geschaäfft , die haben sowas.

Gratz zu diesem 'Montagsboard'. Ich bin mir zwar ziemlich sicher dasses net an der Batterie liegt, aber probieren kannste ja mal. Und ja, die sind genormt, kannste in jedem Media Markt oder Uhrengeschäft kaufen.

Was meinste denn damit? Das hat in allen Tests (und ich meine keine Tests der Computerbild) hervorragend abgeschnitten.

[EDIT] So, ich hab nochmal neu gestartet, und das Board war so nett, mir zu sagen: CMOS Battery failed. Das ist mir im Leben noch nicht passiert, das eine Bios Batterie leer ist. Naja, einmal ist immer das erste mal. Hoffentlich ist das auch wirklich so. Ich besorg mir mal eine neue...

So, ich hatte noch eine alte Batterie (die aber noch voll ist).
