Festplatte da und doch nicht da

Hallo,[br]
hab hier eine WD Caviar 120 Gb, die Platte ist im Bios da,wird erkannt,[br]
ich kann sie aber weder unter Windows noch unter Linux ansprechen oder was drauf installieren.[br]
Jemand eine Idee was ich machen könnte ?[br]

Hast du sie vorher partitioniert und/oder formatiert?!

Mehr Infos :

Hast du versucht die Platte einzurichten?? Also hast du eine Partition erstellt? Hast du sie auch formatiert? Oder ist das genau das was nicht funzt?

Ist sie richtig gejumpert? .....

Geht ja nicht[br]
sowohl in Windows als auch unter Linux sagt das Setup[br]
keine Festplatte vorhanden.[br]
Ahja Schnittstelle ist E-IDE und ist richtig gejumpert[br]
