Aquaero relay query?

Tuesday, January 3rd 2006, 10:50pm

Hello again, just a quick question....

there is the relay header on the aquaero

1, does the aquaero already have a relay already on it, or do i have to wire one up (i.e is there a relay already on the aquero pcb)

2. if it does have one already on it i presume i can just wire up the contacts on the mobo header so if theres a fault it can trigger a shutdown.

Just want to work this out. thanks again  :) & happy new year

It has a relay (oficially for a maximum of 12V@1A) and yes, it's for parallel connecting to the power-switch or in-line-connection of the ATX-Power-Good-Cable (green), so the aquaero is able to shutdown and 'rescue' your PC :).
