Yet another aquaero question

Tuesday, January 24th 2006, 5:43pm

I've just flashed my aquaero and it seems to be happily running firmware 4.09 and OS 2.03 with English menus etc...

My only problem is that it's displaying German days on the time display e.g. Di. instead of Tu. for today.

Any ideas, anyone? ???

Go to the aquasuite-folder and look for some databases (there should be two), in one you can edit the languages - there you have to correct the days, then load the language in the aquasuite and reflash the firmware :).

Okay, one more question :-[

When I click on the 'Alarm and Relay' page in the aquasuite, I get a box up saying:

An unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. Click continue and application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.

Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
Parameter name: Year, Month, and Day parameters describe an uprepresentable DateTime.

and a load of 'aquasuite exception' boxes saying:

Exception: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.

Parameter name: Year, Month, and Day parameters describe an uprepresentable DateTime.
Module:
Method: DateToTicks

Any help on this would be great :)

Do you use the firmware coming with the installed aquasuite? Each aquasuite-version has it's "own" firmware-version, mixing them can cause such problems ::).

Another thing you can try is making an Eprom-Reset (that's the "universal solution" which helps in 90% of all aquaero-problems ;D)

Here we go again... ;D

I've been using a pair of Panaflo FBA12G12L1As (no tacho) which I can run okay by setting the power output - all okay there.

I've just got a pair of FBA12G12M1BXs with tacho output, and according to the specs give a 2 pulse/rev feedback. I've tried setting these up using 'set rpm' instead of 'set power input' but the only way I can get them running is with the 'test maximum RPM' button, or by setting the power input again.
When I click the slider for the RPM setting, it won't move.

I've set the calibration value to 2, and the fans have been tested okay on other hardware.

Any ideas? ??? ;)

No matter - found a loose connection.

All fine now - forget the bit above ;)
