Where is pin number 1 on the Aquameter so I can connect the UBS cable to it correctly

You're on about the Tubemeter I guess.

Pin 1 = GND is the side with the slightly longer profiled section of PCB sticking out.

Similarly, Pin 1 = GND is on the L/H side of the header pins on the back of the Aquaero; the side next to the Flowmeter connection.
