Friday, February 2nd 2007, 9:56pm

Hello

I was wondering how to get a effect like these following photo's.

do you use some special hoses or a special fluid?

also.
i have the same cpu cooler as on the picture of this picture:
http://www.shoggy.de/ac_forum/case06_innen3_g.jpg
but i used some wrong coolant. i just used distilled water and now after a few months it has some algen in it.
can i remove those or is it better to buy a new cooler.
i tried to open the cooler but i dont have the right size screwdriver for it, does anyone know what size it is ?.

Best regards.

You can use either UV reactive coolant additive (AC's BlueMotion or ClearMotion for a blue glow or GlowMotion for a green glow) or UV reactive tubing (Blue reactive P&C tubing) which is probably the easiest method of achieving a nice even glow.

so i take it that this :
Tubing PUR active blue plug&cool
that this ISNT a blue hose, but just a blue UV, because i dont want a blue hose.
it says also plug&cool but i just use screw fittings.

maybe shoggy can help me out on this one ;)

First of all it would a good idea to rinse your cooler as long as there are algen in it.
Secondly: Use ACFluid in future, this should prevent further trouble with algen.
And yes - as far as I know - Shoggy is using the tubing in activ blue uv.
And yes, AC doen't sell it for other fittings then for Plug and Cool.

Does that help a bit?

yeah, but what do you mean with rinse your cooler?

i am using innovatek protect right now wich is anti algen.
so i cant use the hose with 8/10 screw fittings?
thats a pity ;(

Didn't you say, you've got algen in your cooler?

ohh. I'm not quiet sure if this is the right expression.
But I wanted to say something like:
Demount the cooler and clean it with clear water. Do this as long as you can see algen in your cooler.
Except of the CuPlex Evo, you can even remove the glas of the cooler and lay it in citric acit for some minutes, to clean it.
