A check to see if the Aquastream is working?

Saturday, January 10th 2009, 10:16am

HI, I guess the only answer to this is that no water is being moved in my system. The initial startup diagnosis shows no errors but clearly there is no water movement. Is there another test I can perform?

Cheers.

Does the pump alredy have water in its body because otherwise it will not work?

You can also open it and check if everything is ok with the impeller and axis.

Hi Shoggy,
Thanks for the response, it was an initial install the Aquatube is full and the Aquastream is vibrating, but no fluid is being drawn from the Aquatube the only fluid thus far in the system has been gravity fed from the Aquatube. I turned the Pump on then shorted the pins to Deaeration but like mentioned earlier the Aquatube remains full. I have it mounted in an aquabay, just thought before I strip things out again there may have been an easy way to check. I am guessing though with the vibration of the Aquastream it appears to be working. I will double check it in isolation.
Cheers.
