Voltreg cooler for MSI Eclipse? (solved)

Thursday, March 5th 2009, 11:27pm

I am wondering about purchasing a new mobo, MSI Eclipse ...

As far as I can see, the nb and sb should be fine using Twinplex

But I cant seem to find any waterblocks for the voltreg ...

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
EDIT 10/03/09: I have decided not to purchase this mobo, so the question isnt valid anymore. Thanks for all help

Check out the dimensions here in this file and compare to your board.

Thanks Top_Nurse, I have looked at that file alot, but I did not find anything the looked the right shape. 8)

The eclipse har a rather strange layout for the voltreg. But then again it is seperate from nb and sb, so i might just skip the voltreg ...

I was going to wait for mb components for my new Gigabyte board, but I think it might be a while before they decide if they even want to make them. ;(

So I'm leaving in the stock heatsinks and just water cooling the CPU, GPU's and the hard drives. 8o

As you can see it is difficult to get a cooler into the south bridge. I think this board needs a special block like a stretch limo. :D

Do you want to OC? If not the HP is enough. The i7 Chip doesent make any heat at all. I have the ultra version. With 620@4000 the HP is not realy warming up.
