Steel or aluminum face plates for Aquaduct?

The face plates on my Aquaduct (first model 360 XT?) appear to be made out of thin steel plate (it rusts). Are later models made out of aluminum and if so are they available?

If I had the paint striped off and had them powder coated will they still fit in the side reservoir grooves?

The currenct covers are made from stainless steel.

Your aquaduct might have normal steel covers because the first aquaducts did not have a stainless steel cover.

It normally should be no problem if you poweder coat them.
