Whether repair my pump?

Tuesday, August 11th 2009, 6:02pm

Confronted with an issue. Improperly connected cable USB pulling the +5 V is on the other connector (Pin 4 D-). Then, of course, ceased to operate the software. I want to ask - my pump is beyond repair or electronics will not recover?
I lifted the hood and checked all the diodes. This diode was burned. Unfortunately, I do not know what the face value can be replaced. Here is his picture:

Please forgive me for my English - it is not my native language. I look forward to a reply.

Thanks, I'll try to replace the diode itself. Are transferred to other countries are very far (and expensive).

The same thing happened to me some time ago.
Due to the fact that I did not notice in time that the colouring of the usb wiring was different than standard.
I tried to change the zener-diodes myself but was unsuccesful.
I ended up buying a replacement print plate for the pump via AC.

yes pf course simply replace your burnt diode with a new one and your pump would be fine.

I ordered a new diode - it will be soon to come. After replacing the diode, I will inform the result of repair

I think you should buy a new one instead of repairing it. :P

Replacing the diode has not helped. Died controller (((

The controller has been filled with resin. Had some work to clean it.
The question now is - if I changed to a working chip (ATMEL), will need special firmware or will be enough this - aquastream XT-Firmware 1.09, DIY-Flasher?

That will not work in any way...

You will need a completley different firmware.

I think someone has already advised you not try to repair
