Best method to hold rubber gaskets in place ?

Monday, October 5th 2009, 7:18pm

Simple question, difficult task :

What's the best way to place and keep large rubber gaskets (also called O-rings) in place, like the ones you can find in GPU blocks, so that you can properly attach the cover plate on the block without the gasket jumping out of its indentation ?

Shoggy : perhaps you can tell us all how it is done at AquaComputer and/or give us some inside hints and tips ? :)

Go buy some liquid glycerin (I used mineral oil). Apply to o-ring and set in groove. Shoggy told me this years ago and a bottle of the stuff will last you a long time.
