Ok
So i have an Aquaero 6XT running in my main rig.
I plan to purchase the AquaComputer D5 with USB and Aquabus connections to hook it all up to Aquaero system in order to completely manage everything from it. It will be fitted with a D5 top (non fill level version) with an aqualis reservoir (fountain version).
I have a bunch of temp sensors but want to also monitor the flow of the water in the system, I have noticed that Aquacomputers has 4 flow sensors, 1 is the old High flow one which uses a mechanical impeller, the other 3 (ones i am interested in) are a bit confusing.
So we have the
MPS 100
MPS 200
MPS 400
Now i know they are basically measuring the flow rate at different ranges (i think the 400 one has a range between 80 to 400 l/hr).
What i want to know is which MPS Flow sensor goes best with the Aquacomputer D5 pump.
The 400 is the only model to buy if you must use an MPS model.
Depending on what is in your loop, a D5 will normally easily produce over 200LPH (which is under 1GPM or just over 3LPM)
while the 400 model has a minimum flow of 80 LPH or just over 1 LPM which is a very low flow rate.
