Dr. Delid with Haswell

Heya Aquacomputer,

Got a simple question, will Dr. Delid which is advertised to delid Skylake and Kabylake, be good for delidding a Haswell processor as well? has anyone tried it before on a 4790k?

Hi,
you have to remove the indexing plastic pins at the Delrin part with a sharp knife. Then it will work.

Thanks for the answer, is there some picture that shows said plastic pins? you mean on the Dr. Delid itself no?

Yes. At the pocket in the Delrin part that covers the CPU are two pins that you have to remove.
